Design
Most of the work is deciding what to leave out. Every screen earns its place, and the app should explain itself without a tutorial.
Independent app studio
Berdnamu is a one-person studio that designs, builds, and looks after focused utility apps for iOS and Android. One idea per app, nothing to sign up for — open it, get what you came for, close it again.
The studio
Idea, design, code, store listing, support mail — it all runs through the same pair of hands. That keeps the work honest and the decisions quick.
Most of the work is deciding what to leave out. Every screen earns its place, and the app should explain itself without a tutorial.
Native apps for iOS and Android, built to feel at home on the platform — quick to launch, light on battery, usable offline.
Shipping is the beginning. Apps get kept up with new OS releases, and mail sent to the studio is answered by the person who wrote the code.
Approach
Four commitments that decide what gets built and, more often, what doesn't.
An app should do one thing so well that it needs no explanation. Features that dilute that answer don't ship.
What you enter stays on your device — no accounts, no sign-ups, nothing sent to a studio server.
Built around ordinary moments — a question at the vet, a date on the calendar — and tested in the situations they're used in.
No dark patterns, no growth tricks. Just steady updates for as long as people use it.
The name
Berdnamu takes its name and its mark from a tree. Software grown this way is slow at first and steady after — small releases, patient upkeep, and apps that are still worth keeping on the home screen years later.
Published on the App Store and Google Play, built for people anywhere and localized for the places they're used.
Calculators, calendars, trackers — everyday tools rather than things that ask for your attention.
Independent and self-funded, which means no roadmap written by anyone but the people using the apps.
Support requests, bug reports, and press inquiries all land in the same inbox — and get a reply from the person behind the studio.
