Privacy Policy for BP Daily

Introduction

Berdnamu ("we", "our", or "us") provides BP Daily as a simple personal blood pressure log app. BP Daily lets you manually record blood pressure and pulse readings taken with your own blood pressure monitor and review your records and trends. This Privacy Policy explains how information is stored, processed, and shared when you use BP Daily.

Information Stored Locally

BP Daily stores the readings you enter locally on your device. Local record data may include systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, pulse, measurement date and time, measurement period (morning, evening, or other), and any optional memo you write. The app also stores local settings such as reminder preferences, reminder times, and whether onboarding has been completed.

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

BP Daily does not currently create user accounts. The app is not designed to collect names, email addresses, medical history, or other personally identifying information directly from users. BP Daily does not measure blood pressure, does not connect to blood pressure monitors, and does not read from or write to Apple Health (HealthKit) or Android Health Connect.

Local Storage

BP Daily records and settings are stored on your device. Berdnamu app code does not intentionally send your locally stored blood pressure records, pulse readings, memos, or settings to a Berdnamu server, and the app does not provide its own cloud synchronization. Deleting the app or using the "Delete All Records" option in Settings removes your local records. Records are not backed up by Berdnamu and cannot be recovered by us after deletion.

On Android, if Google backup is turned on for your device, Android's built-in Auto Backup may include BP Daily's app data, including your records and settings, in your device backup stored in your Google account, and may restore it when you reinstall the app or set up a new device. This backup is managed by Google and your device settings, not by Berdnamu, and Berdnamu cannot access it. You can manage or turn off backup in your Android settings.

Data Export

BP Daily lets you export your records as a CSV file through the iOS or Android share sheet. Exporting is started only by you, and the exported file is delivered to the app or destination you choose (for example, Mail, Files, Messages, Gmail, or Google Drive). Once exported, that file is handled by the destination you selected and by its own privacy practices.

Reminders

BP Daily can send optional local reminder notifications to help you remember to take a reading. Reminders are off by default, are scheduled entirely on your device, and do not use a Berdnamu server or push notification service. You can turn reminders on or off at any time in Settings or in your device's notification settings. On Android, the app may ask for notification permission and may use the alarms and reminders permission so that reminders arrive on time; these permissions are used only for reminders.

Advertising

BP Daily uses or is prepared to use Google Mobile Ads SDK / AdMob to display banner ads on the History and Trends screens. Depending on Google SDK behavior, user consent, device settings, and the final app configuration, Google Mobile Ads SDK may process data such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app activity related to ads, device or other IDs, and app info/performance data. This data may be used for ad delivery, ad measurement, fraud prevention, security, compliance, diagnostics, and service operation.

Berdnamu app code does not pass your blood pressure readings, pulse readings, memos, or any other health record data to Google Mobile Ads SDK, and does not use your health records for ad targeting or user profiling.

Where required, BP Daily shows a consent message using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before ads are requested. You may be able to review or change your advertising privacy choices later through "Ad Privacy Options" in Settings when this option is available in your region.

For more information about Google's advertising data practices, visit Google Privacy & Terms for advertising.

App Tracking Transparency and Advertising ID

On iOS, BP Daily may ask for permission to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies using Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. This permission is used only to allow personalized advertising through Google Mobile Ads SDK. You can allow or deny this request, and you can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking. Denying tracking does not affect the core features of BP Daily.

On Android, Google Mobile Ads SDK may use your device's advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, at any time in your Android settings (for example, Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Settings > Google > Ads, depending on your device). Doing so does not affect the core features of BP Daily.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

BP Daily uses or is prepared to use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Firebase Analytics may process app interaction events such as app_open, screen_view, and ad impression-related signals, together with device and app information. Firebase Crashlytics may process crash logs, diagnostics, device information, app version, and operating system information to help identify and fix app stability issues.

Berdnamu app code does not include blood pressure readings, pulse readings, memos, or any other health record data in analytics events, user properties, or crash reports.

Google SDKs may process data according to Google's SDK behavior, user consent, device settings, and the final app configuration. For more information, visit Firebase Privacy and Security.

Data Sharing

Locally stored blood pressure records are not intentionally shared with third parties by Berdnamu app code, except when you choose to export them yourself. Google SDKs used in or prepared for the app, including Google Mobile Ads SDK, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics, may process or share data according to Google's policies, SDK behavior, user consent, device settings, and the final app configuration.

Medical and Health Information

BP Daily is a record-keeping tool only. It stores and displays the values you enter and calculates simple averages and charts from them. It does not measure blood pressure, does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prevention, clinical assessment, or professional health advice, and does not classify readings as normal or high. If you have medical concerns, including concerns about your blood pressure, heart rate, or medication, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Children's Privacy

BP Daily is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through BP Daily. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
