Privacy Policy for DogAge: Dog Age Calculator
Berdnamu ("we", "our", or "us") provides DogAge: Dog Age Calculator ("the App") and respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use it.
Information Stored on Your Device
If you save a dog profile, the App stores the dog's name, birthday, and breed size on your device so that the dog's age can be updated automatically. The App also stores local settings such as ad-free purchase status and whether you have already been asked for a review.
This information is stored only on your device. Berdnamu app code does not send your dogs' names or birthdays to a Berdnamu server, and the App does not create user accounts. Deleting a profile or deleting the App removes this information from your device, and Berdnamu cannot recover it.
On Android, if Google backup is turned on for your device, Android's built-in Auto Backup may include the App's saved profiles and settings in your device backup stored in your Google account, and may restore them when you reinstall the App or set up a new device. This backup is managed by Google and your device settings, not by Berdnamu, and Berdnamu cannot access it. You can manage or turn off backup in your Android settings.
Information Collected by Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services, including Google AdMob and Firebase, that may automatically collect technical, diagnostic, and usage-related information as described below.
Advertising
We use Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial ads in the App. Google AdMob may automatically collect the following types of information:
- Device information (such as device ID, operating system, hardware model, and device manufacturer)
- Advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Google's Advertising ID)
- Log information (such as app usage, interactions with ads, performance data, and crash logs)
- Location information (approximate location, if you grant permission)
- Network information (such as IP address and network provider)
- App interactions and usage patterns
- Advertising interaction data (clicks, impressions, conversions)
- Cookies and similar technologies to serve personalized and non-personalized ads

Where required, the App shows a consent message using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before ads are requested. You may be able to review or change your advertising privacy choices later from the App's details screen when this option is available in your region.
Firebase Services
We use the Firebase SDK in the App. Firebase may automatically collect technical diagnostics, device and app information, usage events, crash and error logs, and related metadata needed to provide analytics and app stability monitoring.
At this time, the App uses Firebase for the following services only:
- Firebase Analytics to understand app usage trends
- Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes, investigate errors, and improve app stability
Analytics events may include summary information about how the App is used, such as the calculated age, breed size, life stage, number of saved profiles, and purchase steps. Berdnamu app code does not include your dogs' names or birthdays in analytics events, user properties, or crash reports.

App Tracking (iOS)
On iOS devices running iOS 14.5 or later, we may request permission to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes. This tracking helps us provide more relevant ads and measure advertising effectiveness.
Advertising ID (Android)
On Android devices, the App may access your device's advertising ID through Google AdMob to deliver and measure ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, at any time in your Android settings. If you delete your advertising ID, ads may still be shown but will not be personalized using that ID.
In-App Purchases
The App offers an optional one-time purchase to remove ads. Purchases and restores are processed by Apple (App Store) on iOS and by Google (Google Play Billing) on Android. Berdnamu does not receive or store your payment card details. The App receives purchase information from Apple or Google, such as the product purchased and purchase status, to remove ads and restore your purchase. Your purchase is also subject to Apple's or Google's own privacy policies.
How We Use Information
The information collected by Google AdMob and Firebase may be used to:
- Display ads that help keep the App free to use
- Improve ad relevance and performance
- Understand app usage trends and feature engagement
- Monitor app performance and stability
- Detect crashes, diagnose errors, and fix technical issues
- Measure advertising effectiveness
- Provide personalized advertising experiences where applicable
We do not sell your personal information or use this data for unrelated purposes.
Data Retention

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information. Dog profiles you save are not shared with third parties by Berdnamu app code. Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided such information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

Advertising Preferences
You may choose to opt out of personalized ads by adjusting your device settings:
- On Android 12 or later: Settings > Privacy > Ads > Delete advertising ID (menu names may vary by device)
- On Android 11 or earlier: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
- On iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > Allow Apps to Request to Track (turn off)
- iOS Ad Settings: Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Personalized Ads (turn off)
